CCA Upland Series
Upland Series Concept

Fall & Winter
The format for the Upland Series is for a dog to compete against other dogs, of similar breed and talent, on a predetermined course in which the requirements can be practiced prior to the competition.  The course will consist of three set areas where an upland game bird is placed.  Each dog will have an opportunity to compete on the course multiple times and the dog that can accomplish the objectives of find/point and retrieve, for each of the three set areas, will be awarded a passing score and receive a ribbon.  The dog with a passing score, and the lowest time, is the overall winner.  The dog has the ability to control the clock through their abilities in obedience, hunting, retrieving, and speed.  The top dogs at the end of each level of competition will be invited on to the next level of competition which will end with a seasonal championship.
